MIXING

Control room is the most important part of any audio system. A properly acoustically treated room with a great monitoring system is almost as important as a skilled mixing/mastering engineer. A lot of thought, hard work, time (it has taken us a year) and money went into improving acoustics of our control room, and we are proud to say that it sounds simply amazing. It definitely was one of our best investments so far; one that allowed us to take the quality of our mixes and masters to another level.

Although it is possible to make a good quality mix only using software plugins, nothing can replace a good quality hardware compressor or real valves. This is why we offer mixing in digital domain using mainly hardware tools, reaching for plugins if we think they can do a better job.

Your tracks will be equalised, panned, automated, level balanced, de-essed and compressed, to achieve a professionally sounding mix.

MASTERING

During mastering we compress, equalise and limit stereo tracks to make sure they are well rounded and loud enough, whilst not sounding too squashed or affected by this process.

We strongly advise against making your masters too loud, but if 'really loud' is your goal then we can deliver that for you.

EDITING

Every raw recording needs to be edited. We do it in digital domain, making fade ins/outs, removing clicks, pops and other artifacts created during recording session.

RE-TRACKING/RE-AMPING

This service is aimed at DJs and beat makers who tend to use single tracks rather than complete mixes. You will also want to use this service if you are a musician who does not have an access to high quality recording equipment or skills required.

We take your tracks and plug them in line with our hardware processors to enhance their quality by giving them punch, depth and definition.

We strongly recommend using this service together with our mixing service.

VOCAL RECORDING and TRACKING

Our control room with proper acoustic adaptation is very well prepared to recording high quality vocals and instruments, free from any reverberation artefacts. We are not able to accommodate a choir, drums or horns section, but we have successfully recorded acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitars and saxophones.

Recordings are made via high quality microphones and preamps, high end compressors and converted to digital (DAW).
